Olympia Le-Tan is the daughter of French illustrator, Pierre Le-Tan, and has created her own mark in the literary industry. Olympia is a DJ/French fashion writer. She started working at Chanel, as a design assistant, and with in one year has done collaboration pieces with A.P.C and J.M Weston. Using her love of books, she was inspired to create a handbag collection. Her collection has a total of 21 clutches, in 16 different designs. Olympia’s handcrafted bags can take anywhere from 12-40 hours to create. Each design is based off the cover of her favorite books, such as Moby Dick, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Lolita and a collection of police novels by Georges Simenon.
